Learn the simple five-step process for mobile lab collections today
Schedule here via this website anytime from anywhere.
Our mobile lab service is currently a self pay rate, meaning payment is due at time of booking or service.
Some of our patients do submit the invoice post appointment to their insurance, but reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies with insurance policies. We do accept HSA/FSA cards for payment or you can also submit the invoice post appointment for reimbursement.
The fee for testing your sample(s) is separate and is billed by the laboratory testing your sample. The fee is billed to the insurance that you provide to us at time of service.
After your mobile lab appointment, the mobile phlebotomist will deliver your samples to the laboratory that is in network with your insurance.
Prior to your scheduled appointment, please make sure that you follow any instructions from your doctor. This will ensure that you receive accurate test results and minimizes the need to redo your blood work.
Our phlebotomy technician will arrive within the 2 hour time frame you choose on the specified date. You will receive a text message or call from our technician when they are on their way to your location with an estimated time of arrival.
After your mobile lab draw appointment, your technician will take your specimen(s) along with a copy of your lab order and insurance information to the laboratory in network with your insurance or mailing service (specialty kits) for testing.
Generally patients choose between Labcorp or Sonora Quest. Usually, this is predetermined by your insurance and/or doctor. We also can deliver to other laboratories if needed.
Most speciality kits need to be sent via mail through Fed-Ex or UPS. This is determined by the specialty lab performing the testing. A prepaid label will be provided in the kit to let us know which mailing service we need to use.
After we deliver your specimens to the laboratory for testing, they are responsible for sending over your results to your doctor.
Usually the process can take anywhere from 3-5 days but some tests require more testing time and results will take longer to receive.
The way you receive results does not change if you use our mobile lab services or if you go to a traditional in-person blood draw since the same labs will be processing your lab specimens. We do not receive or have access to any results. If you encounter any issues receiving your results, we are here to help. We keep detailed documentation of our specimen handling procedures in case the testing laboratory needs any additional information from our end.
